Thanks guys. The tractor is only a couple months old with 25 hours now so it suprised me that it was only protected to -10. Maybe I better be safe and get the anti-freeze from the dealer until next time when I am ready to flush the entire system.

I went to the Farm Progress Show yesterday in Alleman Iowa and visited the New Holland diplay. They had a TC40D there so we started it and it makes the same noise as mine. I talked with a service tech while I was there and he said he would give the New Holland engineers a call next week to see if they knew the cause of the noise. In a nut shell he said the noise was normal for the TC's.
